First Music Contact has now moved out of The Dean Arts Studio. We want to extend our thanks again to the studio for giving FMC, Ireland Music Week and Music From Ireland a home for two years. In particular, we would like to acknowledge all the continued hard work of Kate Farnon, Studio Director at The Dean Arts Studio.

After a busy few weeks of international activity and a big move, FMC is finally settled into our new home in Powerscourt Town Centre with our friends and neighbours THISISPOPBABY. A huge thank you to Mary, Terry and everyone at Powerscourt Town Centre for giving us such a warm welcome. We’re so excited for this new chapter in this gorgeous space.

Ireland Music Week 2025 artist applications are now closed and the lineup will be announced soon. This year’s lineup will showcase 50 acts and will be testament to the ever-increasing amount of export-ready musicians, across an increasingly diverse variety of genres, on this small island. We are truly so excited to showcase these stellar acts to music-lovers and international music industry alike across six stages in Dublin city this October in The Button Factory, The Grand Social and The Workman’s Club. Check out the 50 showcasing artists from 2024 here.

January, February and March 2025 were very busy months for Music From Ireland, with two international showcases, industry events and export office activities, including: ESNS in Groningen, trade mission to India International Music Week, SXSW in Texas and the RTE Choice Awards. Next up we have activities and showcases at Superbooth in Berlin, The Great Escape in Glasgow, and Primavera Pro in Barcelona.
