Online gigs and income ideas

In the absence of gigs a lot of artists have been live streaming in the last week.

Here are some plages already doing regular livestream gigs with artists:

Cyprus Avenue’s “Winter Sessions” live streams can be viewed on their Facebook page

Levis’ Corner House in Ballydehob is running ticketed shows over the Valentine’s Day weekend. More information here.

The Spirit Store’s online concert series is available to watch here

Connolly’s of Leap have started uploading performances from the venue. Watch them here.

istayathome has 2 gigs daily on instagram at 6pm and 8pm.

The Roisín Dúbh will be have live streaming gigs from their facebook page on Sundays from 9pm.

Hot Press is hosting lockdown sessions on facebook.

Live Feeds Ireland and beyond is promoting livestream gigs that are happening daily.

Cushions for Creators is organising livestream shows and raising money on go fund me.


Alternatively do reach out to other artists, collaborate from home with either live stream gigs or recordings.


Ways to make Income:

Use either gofundme or PayPal to receive money for gigs.

Set up a Patreon with rewards for subscribers. (gigs for subscribers, Sheet music for fans, books of lyrics, paintings with lyrics etc)

Online lessons. (via zoom, whatsapp, google hangouts)
