Music From Ireland, the Irish Music Export Office run by First Music Contact and funded by Culture Ireland, fund and co-ordinate the Irish presence and promote the Irish acts to international delegates across 10 international showcase and industry events annually.
What does Music From Ireland do exactly?
Music From Ireland is funded to deliver and fund showcases from Irish artists and professionals at a number of international showcases. ESNS, SXSW, The Great Escape, c/o pop, Primavera Pro, A2IM Indie Week, Berlin Superbooth, Reeperbahn, Pop-Kultur, IFF, and Iceland Airwaves as we have identified these as key events in those territories.

You or your agent apply directly to the event itself.
Who funds Music From Ireland?
Music From Ireland is funded by Culture Ireland.
How do I qualify for funding?
You must have an official invitation for the events we cover. Once you have confirmed your offer to showcase at one of these events, one of our team will reach out to provide details on the funding process.
Who picks the showcasing artists?
Showcasing artists are selected by the festival organisers for each event. Music From Ireland do not select the showcasing acts.
Is there any way I could meet these bookers?
Yes, generally there is an opportunity to meet the bookers at Ireland Music Week in October.
Do Music From Ireland plan on adding other festivals to their remit?
